About Me

My name is Tim Litwiller and I am currently living in Los Angeles, CA.

I’ve been making videos since I was a kid, but I never really sunk my teeth into the field until I got to high school. There I directed and edited various short films and a few music videos, several of which won awards at my local school district film festivals. I also acquired experience working with broadcasting technology within the Peoria Student Broadcasting Network in Phoenix, AZ. One time my small team and I produced a music video that won a national student competition.

I went to a small private college in Indiana called Goshen College. I kept myself busy making short films for class and acting as the Chief Editor for the broadcast news team on campus, but my real professional work began in my sophomore year when I got hired on as a Production Assistant for the on-campus production company FiveCore Media. I worked on a lot of promotional material for the city of Goshen, with responsibilities ranging from shooting, managing sound, editing (using Premiere Pro) and color grading (using DaVinci Resolve). By my senior year I was promoted to Student Producer, which came with more trust and more challenging jobs.

I have spent my last semester of school in Los Angeles studying film and working an internship at Kappa Studios. I fell in love with the city and decided to stay. After a few months of odd jobs I landed a job with GIBLIB, a tech startup that made medical education content for its own streaming platform. I worked there for almost 3 full years, working mostly with Premiere Pro and After Effects.

I want to continue my career of working in the film/tv industry with post production, specializing in video editing.
